COST: $12 students and NDTRs, $17 RDNs and $20 for non-members of CAND

This UNIQUE and FUN event combines learning and holiday festivities all in one! Event includes:
- Discuss the benefits/pitfalls of low & non-fat vs. full fat dairy products and the latest science to help guide your practice and client recommendations. This program is not pre-approved by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and pre-approval is not necessary to apply the 1.5 CEUs to your PDP Activity log in support of your goals and learning plan (PDP Suggested Learning Codes: 4000, 4040, 5000, 5160, 5190, 5370).
- Pot Luck Lunch (optional): Bring your favorite holiday dish or beverage to share. A tried and true family favorite, a dish you’d like to “try out”, a healthy creation you’re proud of, or maybe something decadent?
- Cookie Swap (optional): Bring in TWO DOZEN cookies and an empty container to bring home your cookie samples. Bake a healthy cookie, a gluten-free one or an indulgent choice-it’s up to you!!
- An additional “healthy food” donation is requested for the Connecticut Food Bank.
Notification of the journal articles to be read prior to the event will be sent by email after you register.
All proceeds from this event will benefit the Polly Fitz Scholarship Fund. This scholarship of $1,000 is funded by CAND. It is awarded by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics to a CT resident who is pursuing a nutrition degree or internship. Thank you for your support in this regard!!
